Step into a recreated 7th-century Great Hall, where history comes alive through immersive audiovisual presentations. The hall's authentic design, combined with dynamic storytelling, offers photographers a chance to capture the ambiance of Anglo-Saxon royalty. Please note that while personal photography is permitted in certain areas, the museum and Great Hall have restrictions to protect sensitive collections.

Our state-of-the-art distillery showcases the art of whisky-making, blending traditional methods with modern technology. From the beautiful copper pot stills to the atmospheric cask store, the distillery offers a plethora of visual opportunities.


Behind-the-scenes access may be available for media upon request.

Health & safety protocols must be followed in production areas.

The Den has our high-quality wood and stone finishes, stunning lighting, and balcony with a river view, making it a unique destination in its own right. 

Offering a discreet bar, private facilities and its own finishing kitchen, this is a completely exclusive room within the wider venue.
