The Distillery Tours & Tastings leave at set times from the Museum, and visitors are requested to be prompt. However, if you wish to return to browse in the Museum afterwards, you are warmly encouraged to do so.
Please note that as we are running an active distillery, it can get very warm, especially during the summer months. Please take this into consideration when timing your tour.

Children aged 8-17 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult on our Tour & Tastings and will be given non-alcoholic options within the tasting sessions. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate children under 8 years of age on our Distillery Tours and Tastings (with the exception of babes in arms).
Tours are run in groups of up to 14 people. A tour and tasting last approximately 90 minutes. Not all of our tours take place during operational hours, and we cannot guarantee that all, or any of the distilling equipment will be operational at the time of your tour. As an active production distillery there is always something different happening at any time, and even when the stills aren’t fired there is always plenty to see and talk about.
PLEASE NOTE. A tour of the Distillery involves walking on grille flooring. Please ensure you wear flat shoes/suitable footwear.
Part of the Distillery Tour takes you outside the building for a short while, with this in mind, please check the forecast on the day of your tour and dress for the weather.
Please do also note that as we are running an active distillery, it can get quite warm, especially during the summer months.
